Sauteed Asparagus with Lemon & Garlic

Good for you and easy to make, this tasty asparagus sautéed with coconut oil pairs well with any meat. Or perfect as a quick snack!
PREP, COOK, TOTAL TIME
Total time: 7 minutes
1 to 2 tablespoons LouAna® 100% Pure Coconut Oil
1 large bunch of fresh asparagus
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
4 to 5 lemon peels
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Clean asparagus and trim ends.
In a skillet, heat the coconut oil on medium heat.
Add asparagus and garlic and sauté about 10 minutes, tossing occasionally,
Add lemon peel, salt and pepper to taste when the asparagus just begins to become tender on the outside. Sauté 1 to 2 minutes more.
Transfer to a serving platter and squeeze fresh lemon over the asparagus.
